About Us
The Ashland Current LLC serves as a resource for Chequamegon Bay Area residents seeking information about their community through interactive, web-based applications and traditional forms of media, including news reports, analysis, and commentary.
We believe the community doesn't want to accept news on someone else's terms – readers want a direct and interactive say in what gets covered by the media. Moreover, readers expect opportunities to express their opinions.
Being a part of a community has become more complex with the advent of web-based technologies. Here at the Ashland Current we respect communication in whatever form it takes. We are focused on listening to and responding to readers' needs, while dedicating ourselves to the compilation and creation of credible and quality information that will benefit the community at large.
We encourage you to learn more about our editorial, advertising, and privacy policies.
