Congrats, Stefanie!: Ball Player Hits 1,000 Points

Earlier this month a ball player on the Washburn High School basketball team received recognition for surpassing 1,000 points for the first time in her career.
Washburn High School Senior Stefanie Siroin went over 1,000 points in a game against the Ironwood girls' team in January.
Siroin received one of the Washburn girls' team basketballs in honor of the feat, according to the Washburn School District, at a game against Mellen earlier this month.
Siroin is the daughter of Steve Siroin and Cherie Kurtz. She will be attending the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay in the fall and will be on the school's volleyball team.
