Ashland Snowboard Girls First At State

The Ashland Girls High School Snowboarding Team placed first at a state tournament this weekend, according to the Mt. Ashwabay Ski and Recreation Area.

Both the Ashland girls and boys teams left Friday to participate in the state tournament, which was held in La Crosse.

Among those attending were Jackson Brunsvold, Dakota Tamke, Jared Rust, Mike Tuttle, Blake Bonney, Jake Bretting, Chloe Bolt, Ariel Anderson, Abby Vandervoorde, Kiaia Satereen, Marilyn Alexander, and Sarah Fall, according to parent Pieper Brunsvold.
