Starck, Vander Puy Win Ashland County Board Primary

Ashland County Board incumbent Michael Starck and challenger Nick Vander Puy received the most votes in a primary election Tuesday for District 12.

It was the lone race in Ashland County requiring a primary. Starck finished in first place with 90 votes, followed by Vander Puy with 68 votes, according to the Ashland County clerk's office. Eugene Bigboy Sr. finished in third place with 51 votes.

Starck and Vander Puy will face off in a general election on April 3.
