Freshly Squeezed: Ashland's Image Problem

At a meeting Friday to address security issues in Ashland downtown, some business owners expressed concern about the media portraying Ashland as a hotbed of crime. Ashland Interim Police Chief Greg BeBeau was quick to say that Ashland's downtown is safe, while Ashland County District Attorney Kelly McKnight said there's not a crime wave in Ashland County. Is the media to blame for creating a perception of a crime wave?
