Freshly Squeezed: Jobs At What Price?

News of Kestrel Aircraft's decision to locate two manufacturing plants in Superior is good news, to be sure. But, the move does raise questions about the role of government in creating jobs, as Kestrel will qualify to receive millions of dollars in subsidies. Republicans are celebrating Kestrel's decision, but it's hardly an example of free market capitalism at work.
