Freshly Squeezed: Fitzgerald's Bully Tactics
So much for the State Senate injecting some sanity into the political process. Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald's decision to dissolve the committee in charge of drafting a mining bill was the latest slap in the face to the Northland. A hearing on a draft bill had been scheduled to take place in Ashland and Platteville but no longer. Instead the senate will take up the mining bill adopted by the State Assembly -- Yikes!
