Master Gardener Module 1

Master Gardener training module one begins tonight as a program for Ashland and Bayfield counties at the Agricultural Energy and Resource Center from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Three modules make up the full program, with module one running from Feb. 1 to Feb. 15, module two from March 15 to April 5, and module three from April 25 to May 9.  The course is taught by University of Wisconsin-Extension Agent Jason Fischbach.  The cost for the full three modules (30 hours of instruction and materials) is $70 per person, $105 for two registering together.  An additional handbook is available for $85.  Individual costs for modules are $20 for 1, $25 for 2, and $20 for 3.  You may register for one module at a time if you are not interested in obtaining Master Gardener Certification, otherwise you must pay for all sessions.  For more information please contact Fischbach at (715) 373-6104 or jason.fischbach@ces.uwex.edu.
