Menopause Info Seminar

The Bay Area Health Education Coalition will offer a free seminar: “Heat wave in February: What you need to know to cope with menopause” at 6:30 p.m. tonight at the WITC-Ashland Conference Center. Featured speakers Dr. Howard Sandin, gynecologist, and Jann Penn, women’s health nurse practitioner, will discuss how the body changes during menopause, common symptoms and current research on treatments for those symptoms. They will close with a question and answer session. This program is free and open to the public. Healthy snacks and goodie bags will be provided. Attendees are encourages to come at 6 p.m. to walk before the workshop.
