Gay-Straight Alliance & School

A panel titled, "Gay-Straight Alliance – What it is and How to Start One in Your School," takes place today at 7 p.m. at the Washburn Cultural Center, 1 E Bayfield St., 3rd floor. Enter on alley side of the Cultural Center. Side door will be open. Panel and discussion led by Northland College Gay-Straight Alliance. They will explore questions such as: Why have a Gay Straight Alliance? How do you start one? What are some of the benefits? Are there any risks? What might be obstacles in starting one? How can parents, allies, teachers and administrators support students who want to start a GSA? Pizza will be served!
