Raccoons 'Move In' On Sand Island

A wildlife camera on Sand Island captured this image of a coyote and two raccoons on Jan. 6. According to the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, until recently raccoons were not thought to inhabit any of the islands in the lakeshore. This proves that they have taken up residence on Sand Island, the lakeshore reports.
